Understanding business card product options
This article will provide details on the different product options available for business cards.
Your business cards are a reflection of you and your brand. Markful offers a variety of finishes, coatings, thicknesses, and style options so you get exactly what you want.
Finishes & Coatings
Markful business cards are available in three finish/coating options so you can choose the look and feel that fits your brand.
-
Matte: Smooth, non-reflective finish for a clean, modern look and easy writing. Matte finish is recommended when you want your clients to have the ability to write on the cards.
-
Gloss: Adds pop and shine to photos and color-heavy designs.
-
Soft-Touch: Recommended on 16pt standard & 32 pt (Premium) with square corners for a refined, velvety feel. Not recommended on 52 pt (Luxe).

Card Thickness
Markful offers three card thicknesses:
-
Standard – 16 pt. A classic balance of durability and affordability—perfect for everyday use.
-
Double Thick – 32 pt. Twice as thick as standard for a strong, substantial in-hand feel.
-
ColorFill – 52 pt. The ultimate statement piece: extra-thick with a bold color band visible along the seam, so your card makes an impact from every angle.

Style Options
Match the look and feel to your brand with four styles:
-
Standard Business Cards (16 pt.) — Matte finish, square corners; a clean, everyday option.
-
Classic Business Cards (16 pt.) — Glossy front, matte back, rounded corners for a polished, traditional touch.
-
Premium Business Cards (32 pt.) — Extra thickness with square corners and Soft-Touch finish recommended for a premium, velvety feel (gloss front/matte back also available).
-
Luxe Business Cards (52 pt. ColorFill) — Maximum impact with extra-thick stock and a bold color edge along the seam; Soft-Touch not recommended on this thickness.
