Tax-Exempt Orders

Learn how to place a tax-exempt order with Markful.

If your organization qualifies for tax-exempt status, we’re happy to assist you with placing a tax-exempt order. Tax exemption is handled on a case-by-case basis, here’s how it works:

  1. Submit Your Documentation – Email a copy of your valid tax exemption certificate to info@markful.com before placing your order.
  2. Our Team Reviews – We’ll review your certificate and confirm eligibility.
  3. We Place Your Order – Once approved, our team will place your order, remove the sales tax, and prepare your invoice.
  4. Finalize Payment – You’ll receive an email with a secure payment link to complete your purchase.

Important Notes:

  • We cannot mark accounts as permanently tax-exempt. Each order is reviewed individually.
  • Orders placed before tax-exempt approval will include sales tax. You can contact us within 7 business days to remove the tax with the appropriate documentation.
  • If your organization uses multiple shipping addresses, a valid exemption certificate may be required for each state.
